I love Mario's, the people are wonderful and the food is great. Sometimes there is a wait but for me it's worth it

My family and I always enjoy eating here. This time was no different. The staff is great and the food is exceptional.

Best authentic Italian cuisine in all of Rutherford County! We had Calamari and Stuffed Mushrooms for appetizers. The Calimari is fried but not breaded, covered in grated parmesan and herbs, served with marinara sauce and a lemon. Perfectly cooked, not chewy or rubbery. The stuffed mushrooms were in the top 3 I've ever tried. Crab, cheese, and maybe sausage with herbs and spices served over butter with a lemon on the side. As a main course me and my fiancee split the Eggplant Parmigiana. Absolute perfection. The service was amazing and the staff were friendly. Would recommend to anyone looking for italian cuisine, and we will be back!

I have the read the reviews here and they were all for the most part great. So my husband and myself decided to try it. We got there around 630 and went in and due to the pandemic seating it wasn't very busy. We ordered and set there until 8:05 .We were gonna split a plate, finally at approximately 7.50 she brought out a hamburger steak which we did not order, I had ordered bake ziti. There was only 1 other tables that was left to be served. They brought their food out and we had been there over an hour before they were. Needless to say we left. There was only 1 waitress and 1 cook. I don't mind waiting for food but an hour and a half is a little much. So that being said unless you have all day to wait then don't go.

Food was great. Need more variety in the buffet bar from day to day.

This place is the best kept secret around this area. If you are in a hurry, it's probably best you go elsewhere. The food is made from scratch when you order so it takes time; even more so if they are busy. But the wait will be worth it!

Outstanding service and the food was even better. The waitress was a sweetheart and made the dining experience wonderful. Olive Garden needs to nail its doors shut.

This restaurant has a buffet, but we have mostly ordered from the menu due to timing. The ribeye and roasted chicken are some of the best cooked dishes we have had recently. The cheesy garlic bread is an enjoyable starter, and the ice cream dessert is unique and delicious.

This place is a hidden gem! Real, authentic Italian food. I took my brother here for his birthday. We had a wonderful time. The food, from the appetizer to the dessert, was wonderful. Plus, the owners are super nice, sweet people. If you're looking for a really delicious meal, please do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Great food - great family service - we were in town visiting family and ordered takeout- Alba and Mario were so kind and generous to us- the food is authentic home cooking at its finest - great value for your money and the portions are very generous this is truly a gem you shouldn't miss if you enjoy italian cooking prepared with love and passion .

I went there for the Easter buffet. The food was fresh and delicious. They offered all you can eat salad bar, hot bar and dessert bar. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

We took Mom to enjoy the Mother's Day buffet and it was amazing. The food was perfect. The made from scratch authentic Italian food was beautifully prepared. The owners were very friendly and accommodating to every family I observed enjoying a meal at this establishment. We look forward to returning for another special meal soon.

I ordered Penne Pomodoro takeout and got spaghetti Pomodoro. They gave me plastic utinsels and the fork broke trying to eat my spaghetti. Overall the pasta was cooked perfect and the sauce was pretty good. I'll give them a second chance.

The Sunday buffet is very good, and is served by the staff. They have awesome coffee and great wait staff. The dessert bar is mostly prepackaged cookies and pies. It is a small business ran by locals that is worth checking out and supporting.

Wonderful experience! Plenty of good choices on the menu. Salad came out quickly. Dinner came out just as we were finishing the salad. Everything was prepared just as we had requested. The food was great!

The food is extremely good, a good variety of meats and vegetables. A large salad and dessert bar. Price is very reasonable and owners are really nice. I highly recommend it.

Buffet was not great and not really Italian... Mostly southern food.

There are not enough stars to accurately grade the food here....my 1st time today, but will not be my last. Excellent service all the way around and wonderful food. You won't be disappointed.

Eggplant parmesan was excellent! NY style Cole slaw was the best I've had since my trip to NYC. Very nice people.
